Our Story

Their story feels less like chance and more like something carefully and divinely written long before they ever understood it.

She was born and raised in Long Island, New York. He grew up in Mobile, Alabama. Through family ties, their lives were already quietly connected, though neither of them knew how deeply those threads would eventually intertwine. When her family later moved to Alabama in 8th grade, what felt like a major life change was, in many ways, the beginning of everything that was meant to be.

One Friday, she followed him on social media while trying to make friends in their class. That same evening, he asked her to play a video game named "Fortnite". What began as a casual game turned into hours of laughter, and by the end of the night, he confessed he had a crush on her. She felt the same. By Monday, it seemed everyone already knew, and when she finally asked him directly, their relationship began... simple, certain, and exactly as it was meant to be.

From that moment on, they were inseparable. Their families soon became part of the unfolding story as well, meeting for the first time on a Steak N' Shake date that quickly turned into laughter, connection, and an instant bond between both sides. What began in a classroom between two teenagers had grown into something that felt deeply rooted and shared by their families too.

Life eventually led them in different directions for high school and college—she to Florida for Nursing school, and he remaining in Alabama to pursue a career in Physical Therapy—but even distance could not undo what had been set in motion. Through years of visits, graduations, and life milestones, their relationship only deepened, strengthened by time and intention rather than diminished by miles.

After eight years together, they finally came back under the same roof in December 2025, moving into their first apartment and beginning their adult lives side by side. Working at the same hospital and building a home together, they continued growing not just in love, but in life itself.

To celebrate everything they had overcome and accomplished together, they traveled to Colorado around their anniversary in March 2026. One evening, after a beautiful dinner and beneath the quiet glow of a beautiful park, he proposed. March 19th, 2026. In that moment, it felt unmistakably clear to both of them that their story had been guided all along.

Now, as they plan their destination wedding in Mexico in May 2027, they do so with full hearts and deep gratitude. They truly believe their love is not just a story of timing, but one of intention—something God had been quietly orchestrating from the very beginning.

Round-trip ground transportation between the airport and resort is included when accommodations are reserved through our wedding concierge. - Do I need a passport?Yes, a valid passport is required for international travel. Please ensure your passport remains valid for at least six months beyond your return date. - Can I book directly through the resort or another website?To be included in our wedding celebration, accommodations must be reserved through our designated concierge.
